On Thursday, March 2, P.S. 222 will be celebrating Read Across America Day. The day will begin at 7:30 am with a wonderful breakfast of pancakes with warm syrup, turkey sausage patties and fresh fruit for Grades K to 2. Students can wear their pajamas and bring their favorite book to school. An invitation is extended to our parents to come in and read with their child and his/her friends from 9:00- 9:30 am. Interested parents should sign up in advance with the classroom teacher.
It will be a day of fun and enjoyment as we celebrate Read Across America with our families, students and friends!
